At Medical Defense Society, we believe loyalty means something.
When a GP chooses to stay with us, renew with us and recommend us to a colleague, that is not just a transaction. It is a sign of trust.
Our Loyalty Scheme has been created to recognise that trust. It rewards members who continue to build their relationship with Medical Defense Society and who introduce other GPs to a medical defence organisation they genuinely value.
A scheme that grows with your membership
The longer you remain a member of Medical Defense Society, the more your loyalty is recognised.
Members move through loyalty tiers based on their continuous years of membership. When a referred colleague joins Medical Defense Society, eligible members receive a credit against their future membership fee.
This means your loyalty can create real value over time.
It is simple, transparent and designed to reward the members who help us grow through recommendations.
How it works
- Share your GMC number with a GP colleague who may be interested in joining Medical Defense Society.
- Your colleague enters your GMC number on their Medical Defense Society application form.
- If they join Medical Defense Society, your referral is recorded.
- Your loyalty credit is applied to your next invoice.
- As your continuous membership grows, your loyalty tier can increase too.

When you refer a colleague who becomes a member, you may receive a loyalty credit against your next membership invoice.
Your colleague may also receive an introductory benefit when they join.
